30 Day Return Policy

Non-defective goods: Your satisfaction with our products is guaranteed. Effective 1/5/2013, For non-defective goods, you have 30 days from the date your product leaves the warehouse to examine our products and make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Returns require a Return Goods Authorization number issued by the manufacturer (RGA) which you can request from us at info@1800mylamps.net. Please allow at least five business days for the RGA number to be issued. Returns without an RGA number will not be accepted. Returned items must be new, unused, unaltered and properly repacked in original packaging along with all included parts. Please E-mail us tracking numbers of returned goods to guarantee and expedite your refund. Do not return merchandise back to our sales office. Return shipping fees will need to be paid by the customer. Refund will be given for the price of a product minus the original freight. There are no restock fees on returns, except for the following brands / skus: Liton LED Recessed Lighting (set at 50% restock fee), Hubbardton Forge (25% restock fee) and Kalco Lighting custom painted fixtures(non-returnable). There are no returns on custom orders, light bulbs and parts.

Defective Products: If for any reason a product is received in a defective manner, please notify us immediately and it will be picked up and replaced at our expense with the same item via a prepaid shipping label. Upon shipment of a replacement you will be charged for the new replacement item and reimbursed as soon as defective product is returned back to the factory.

No Sales Tax for orders shipped to any state: By California law, we are to charge sales tax (9.00% of your purchase) if your delivery address is in California, but as of 7/16/2010, we pay for your CA sales tax. Due to manufacturer restrictions, Hubbardton Forge and Fanimation is exempt from this promotion.

2 Year Extended Warranty: We will repair or replace any defective product within 2 years from the date of purchase. Warranty does not cover altered items, products subject to abnormal weather conditions, improper installation or misuse. Halogen bulbs where supplied, are not warranted for any specific period of time.

125% Low Price Guarantee: In an unlikely event that an authorized e-tailer advertises the same product for a lesser amount, we will match that price plus an additional 25% of the difference. This may include any coupon or promotional discount codes being offered by the competing e-tailer. Subject to verification and manager approval. Due to manufacturer restrictions, Hubbardton Forge and Aladdin Light Lift is exempt from this promotion. Submit a Price Match Request

Payments: We Accept American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, via the 128 Bit SSL Secure Yahoo! Store system. Personal and company checks are accepted as well. Your card will not be charged until your order has been acknowledged that it can be completely fulfilled. You will be notified of any back-ordered items if any, by phone or e-mail after your order is placed.

Shipping: Shipping is free to the lower 48 U.S. states only on orders over $100. For orders under $100, shipping cost is $14.99. All Ground shipping orders usually leave the warehouse within 3 to 7 business days unless otherwise indicated and shipped via UPS or FEDEX to the 48 contiguous states. Air shipments are processed on a priority basis. Please contact us for priority shipping rates such as 2nd Day, 3-Day, or Next Day Air to the Lower 48 Contiguous U.S. States, as well as ground shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada and Puerto Rico. AffordableLamps.com does not guarantee delivery time and date of priority / air shipments. Returning duplicate shipments and defective products: For orders that were double shipped or are defective and need to reshipped back, we contact the customer and send prepaid shipping labels to pickup the duplicate item(s). Failure to return items that we double shipped or are defective, we have the authorization to charge the customer's credit card. This includes transformers that have malfunctioned. All customers outside of the USA are responsible for any customs or duties that apply, and for securing a customs broker.

International Shipping Powered by Bongo International Checkout

We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers.

At checkout, choose your international destination from the country drop down menu. Once you select your country and attempt to checkout, you will be automatically transferred to Bongo's Secure International Checkout page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.

Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase and then re-purchase those items from our site on your behalf. We will ship the goods to Bongo's Global Distribution Facility and they will be forwarded to your international address.

Our sole liability of any kind, whether on warranty, contract or negligence grounds, with respect to the products furnished under this agreement shall be limited to the cost of any defective products, provided, however that we shall be under no obligation to install replacements or to cause replacements necessitated in whole or in part by catastrophe, fault or negligence of the user or any third party, improper or unauthorized use of products, use of products in a manner for which they were not designed or intended or by causes external to the subject product, including without limitation, shipping damage or power failure.
